We recently met Filonese and her mother, Belinda. After seeking care for Filonese in multiple clinics across Northwest Haiti, a health agent finally referred her to Potter & Clay Ministries Malnutrition Center. When Filonese and her mother arrived, she was suffering from kwashiorkor malnutrition - her body was swelling because it had been without protein for so long.
After only a week of proper care, Filonese’s swollen body started returning to normal and she began to gain healthy weight.

In 2019, our goal is to serve even more families across Northwest Haiti. Not only can we save lives, but we can share the love of Jesus through relationship and quality healthcare.
