Education is a key part of development for every child. Because there is no public education in Haiti, we strive to support families in our community through school sponsorship.
For just $115, you can sponsor a child’s education for the 2022-2023 school year.
For many families in Haiti, the cost of education is too much. But you can change that today through your gift to Potter & Clay’s Education Initiative.
To help alleviate the burden that parents carry, Potter & Clay’s Education Initiative was born!
In our unique approach, Potter & Clay acts as a liaison between the parents and schools. We pay the upfront costs to schools, and parents then make monthly payments to Potter & Clay. This ensures that schools are receiving the payments they need to function, and parents are able to make more feasible, consistent payments to us. Everyone wins!
The second part of our Education Initiative includes sponsorship of students whose families cannot pay for the costs of school. Through our relationships with school directors throughout our community, we are often made aware of students whose families have endured sudden tragedies or whose single parents cannot pay to keep them in school. This is an amazing opportunity to have a direct impact on a child’s future!
